Just like "Denver" (so horrible what happened, praying for them) is trending on twitter, shoes are trending in my life. I have been beyond obsessed with shoes lately, and the funny thing is, I don't have a particular style... There are some people's style I like to emulate like Emma Stone, Miley Cyrus, or Alli Simpson, but I don't have a set style. In fact, it changes so often I don't t think it's possible for me to label it, haha. But Pastry shoes: Oh my God.
Pastry shoes are an obsession I never saw coming. So many people think that Pasrty is ugly, and I really don't understand. I know that the company has a somewhat "outrageous" or "showy" tone to it, and that doesn't work for everyone, but, oh, it works so well for me. I can't express how much I love these shoes. I ordered some just last night, the ones to the left actually, and they should arrive today! I cannot wait. I feel like I can wear them with so many things, especially since they're black and black can go with almost anything. Another thing: I've noticed a lot of short people wear them and it seems to flatter them. Since I'm short, 5'1", that is definitely a plus.
I'm thinking about wearing them with skinny jeans/leggings. I think the bulk on my feet will make my legs look slimmer. It will also be nice because I know none of my friends like these kind of shoes, so I'll be one of the only ones who has them! I don't like to blend in most of the time, and finding a pair of shoes that not very many other people have is hard.
